The grant program is designed to help young people learn how to grow plants hydroponically (without soil) and to explore related topics in botany and environmental science. Schools or organizations will receive hydroponic garden systems and indoor light systems as well as curricula and reference books.

This grant program seeks proposals to safeguard the basic freedoms guaranteed in the U.S. Bill of Rights, to help eliminate all forms of prejudice and discrimination, and to assist government agencies to be more accountable to the public. Grant amounts will range between $5,000 and $25,000 each.
