Connect to Students

Finding Student Interns and Volunteers

The Richmond Metro region is the home of many prominent universities and community colleges, which enroll thousands of students each year. These students are talented, eager and willing to serve our community, particularly through internship opportunities.

We at ConnectRichmond hope to connect our member organizations to the universities and students in three easy ways. Please note: we are in the process of adding information for the local universities not yet mentioned.

1) Connect with Students through our Job Finder

Recently, we have updated our Job Finder options to allow organizations to post internships. Please login to start posting internships. You will see "internship" as a new category to select.

2) Connect with Students through ConnectRichmond's FaceBook

Students often prefer to connect through social media sites. After placing your internship opportunities on the job finder, we suggest you cross promote by posting to our FaceBook Page.

3) Connect with Universities

Most schools and departments within the universities have their own way of reaching students through newsletters, listserves and staff who direct internship opportunities to students. We suggest you also contact the schools directly. At the end of each university's list are links to find student volunteers.
