Non- profits are finding increasingly difficult to mainain/forge corporate relations. This is due, in part, because corporations are unable to fulfill requests for dollars during these hard economic times. Corporations seem to be afraid of maintaining/creating relationships with non-profits even via volunteering, for fear that a request for donations will soon follow.

The economy won't be bad forever (we hope), and while it is, it seams that a mutually beneficial relationship between non-profits and corporations should still be able to exist.

How can we make the best of current non-profit/corporate relationships during an economic downturn?
