Administrative & Volunteer Coordinator Intern/ Volunteer

As an Administrative intern, you will become familiar with the internal workings of a well orchestrated non-profit. The candidate selected will gain an in dept understanding of A Small Comfort’s mission and campaigns, as well the day to day inner workings and management. 
As an intern you will: 
• Assist with routine office duties, including filing and answering phone calls/emails 
• Draft and distribute acknowledgment letters in response to donations 
• Assist Public Relations Manager with special events, monthly deliveries to hospitals and partners 
• Assist in the recruitment, screening, and placement of volunteers within the organization 
• Manage Inventory and required reports 
• Assist with other duties as needed

Requirements: 
Must be willing or able to work a minimum of 10 hours/week ( flexibility required) 
Interns must commit to a minimum of one semester or summer of service 
 
**THIS INTERNSHIP IS UNPAID** 
Although the internship is unpaid, we will work with universities to provide student interns with academic credit- However, being a student is not required. All interested and qualified candidates will be considered. 
Students or candiates with a degree or background in volunteer recruitment/ management, office management, or clerical experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be able to work independently on projects. Applicants should be academically accomplished and posses strong communication and organizational skills.
