Director of Youth Ministry

Lebanon United Methodist Church in Hanover, VA is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Youth Ministry. This is a part-time position and we anticipate a weekly flexible schedule of 20 to 30 hours. We are excited about growth in our children's ministries. A large group of elementary students is being well prepared to enter the youth program in the near future, and our dedicated 6th through 12th graders always respond well to passionate leadership. The youth program enjoys the support of the church and there is a strong base of volunteers for activities. We are seeking a dynamic youth director to join our program staff. Our program is missions-oriented and interactive. We expect a comprehensive approach to the development and implementation of the youth ministry at all levels in the connectional system of the United Methodist Church and in all ministry areas of the local church.
