| Licensed Therapist (LCSW/LPC) | | | | UMFS (United Methodist Family Services) | UMFS is seeking a full time, licensed (LCSWor LPC) Lead Therapist to provide psychological interventions and case management to youth who are mentally or emotionally disturbed and their families. Lead Therapist collaborates with psychiatric, nursing, recreation therapy, chaplain and staff in the diagnosis and treatment planning process for all clients. Provides clinical leadership to the treatment team on individual therapeutic and group process issues. Applicants with familiarity with and experience in working with sexual GLBT youth are encouraged to apply." Directly supervises the Therapist and possibly a master's level student intern. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Additional duties include weekly supervision of Therapist and intern. Responsible for supervising the Therapist in their upkeep, accuracy, and completeness of all client files. Responsible for ensuring that supervisees are following agency policy in meeting regular deadlines for all documentation. Responsible for maintaining supervision logs for clients files every six sessions for those supervisees that are unlicensed. | Master's level therapist, LCSW or LPC required. Two to three years experience in residential setting preferred.
