| A complete and accurate Census count means more funding for you and your community. Federal funding is distributed to the City of Richmond based upon our population. Completing the Census form makes a strong and clear statement about what resources our community needs. On April 13, Richmond will host the Census Tour Bus for a full day Census Extravaganza. There will be highlights and special entertainment on the Northside around lunch time at the field across from Virginia Union University's Hovey Field right on Brook Road, and on the Southside at Southside Plaza in the afternoon with the main events occurring about 6 to 8 pm.
