| The Woody Foundation | | Mission: The Woody Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization formed in 2008 to improve the quality of life for inner city youth through a working partnership with other organizations. The Woody Foundation will provide resources to the communities that are intended to assist inner city youth strive to reach their fullest potential. The Woody Foundation exists to benefit the lives of children and families living in low-income environments through daily after-school academic programs, teen leadership clubs, and parental guidance programs. The Woody Foundation is based on the premise that throughout the world there are thousands of effective programs and approaches making a profound and lasting difference in young lives. Rather than build new programs from scratch, The Woody Foundation’s mission is to identify programs that work, strengthen their impact, and expand their reach so that more young people may benefit. | | |
